New Business:
- Question: Should we have fewer, but larger events? A discussion was held and the opinions were that what we have and are doing is working - don't change it.
- Swap Meet in the Fall: Let do it. But we need to get the word out to other clubs, hobby shops, papers etc. to bring in the people to make it a success.
- Use of the Fruitland Elementary Gym for a fee. Ken S. says the gym is new with a high ceiling. The members asked him to check on the availability and the fee.
- Other new business:
- Flying Field Entrance Sign: Suggestions were made for a removable sign or a banner to put over the cement block on event days. Ken S. is going to check on the possibilities and report back.
- Cross Country event, July 18: All agreed that last years was very successful. However much help is needed to insure the success. Contact Lynn H. (ldhyslop@bigskytel.com), 208-365-5264 to volunteer. He needs to know in advance so he can plan. Dale C. is checking with the Civil Air Patrol about putting on the great breakfast like last year.
- Mowing Schedule: Richard P. said a mowing schedule needs to be established to mow once a week. (many hands make light work) He is going to get in touch with those who are willing and able to be on the schedule and also to coordinate for a lesson on our beautiful mower. (be prepared to be touched)
- Turbine Jets (Nampa Club) will be flying at the Parma Flying Field, 12,13,14 June. If you haven't seen these planes fly this is your chance, 250 to 400 mph.
- The Argus and Malheur Independent have been faithfully publishing notices of our events and news.
- Next meeting: July 1. 2009.

Respectfully Submitted,
